Registered charities and non-profits in the European Union and the European Economic Area can raise money on CauseHub straight into their own account, with 0% platform fee and a public proof trail that shows donors what their gift did.
How it works
Create an account and your cause
Choose "Registered organisation" when you start your cause.
We check your registration
While we review your cause, we ask for your registry details and compare them with the official registry. Only then does it show the registered organisation badge.
Connect your payout account
Through Stripe's own secure pages, in your organisation's name. Gifts settle there directly.
Post proof as you spend
Receipts and deliveries with a photo or scan, within 60 days of receiving money. Donors see them on your cause page.
What it costs
Nothing from us: 0% platform fee on donations. Stripe's processing cost is shown to donors before they pay, and many choose to cover it so you receive the full gift.
Tax certificates
If your organisation is on the official list of recognised institutions for tax-deductible gifts, we can mark your cause as tax deductible after checking. The tax certificate itself always comes from your organisation. In Belgium, donors then get a tax reduction of 30% on gifts of at least 40 euro a year.
Good to know
- Goals are up to 10,000 euro per cause for now. Larger campaigns will open with milestone payouts.
- Faith-based organisations are welcome, and so are organisations with no faith at all. The same rules apply to everyone.
- Follow the dignity guidelines and the rules on what can be funded.
